Finalborgo is the oldest part of the municipality of Finale Ligure, probably dating back to before the 12th century. Today, the village is home to numerous activities and craft workshops, a reminder of the evocative medieval context that hosts them.

In the low season, the municipality organises the ‘Rolli Days’, weekends when it is possible to visit some of the city’s most majestic palaces, located on Via Garibaldi. These are luxurious palaces dating back to the Renaissance and Baroque periods, some of which are now private residences and museum venues, as well as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
